Hi there! My name is Laura Jackson. I’m a personal trainer, nutrition coach, fitness competitor and a trained journalist. Although I’ve been in the fitness industry for over 20 years, I eventually found my niche in empowering women to look and feel their best. Recently, I was forced to pivot my business from one-on-one training to meeting my clients’ needs online. What started out as a new year’s resolution weight loss challenge has evolved into so much more. It has become a full-on passion project that gets me out of bed early every day. Not only am I helping more women than ever become the best version of themselves, but I’ve also found a fun way to collaborate with like-minded boss babes (like you!)

How can this help grow my business?
This is a great question. As a fellow entrepreneur, I know that resources are limited. So any endeavour has to make sense financially. As a former journalist, I’m all about the research! When I began to dig, this is what I found:

A giveaway is just like any other marketing initiative – it’s a way to generate more exposure for your goods and services
But the key is to go further than simply giving away goods – Frugal Marketing explains that you want to give away information as well. For example, a beauty salon could give away shampoo and also hand out pamphlets on proper hair care. By giving people more knowledge of your product, you can impress them with your expertise and leave them intrigued and curious about what more your company has to offer.
